Argyll Distillery was built in 1827 at Duncan McKinnon. It is said to be standing at the corner of Burnside Street and Lorne Street in the middle of the town. It has another name called Mckinnon's Argyll. 1835, we lost McKinnon, but the distillery went on till 1844. Now there stands a building with automobile related offices in it. In 1844 new Argyll Distillery was built by Millknowe Road.

アーガイル蒸留所は1827年Duncan McKinnon によって建てられた。町の中心地Burnside StreetとLorne Streetの角にあったと思われる。別称Mckinnon's Argyll。1835年McKinnonは亡くなったが蒸留所は1844年まで操業された。現在その場所には自動車業関連の建物が建っている。1844年にはMillknowe Roadに新しいArgyll蒸留所が建てられた。
