Robert and Charles Johnston founded Lochruan distillery in 1835 on the corner of Princes Street and John Street in Dalintober. (Some say it was founded in 1833.) After this they continued changing its owner but in 1925 it was moved to DCL and closed in the same year. Now there stands the council housing.

ロッホルアン蒸留所は1835年Robert and Charles JohnstonによりDalintoberのPrinces StreetとJohn Streetの角に建てられた。(1833年の説もある)その後いく度となく買収や再建が繰り返されたが1925年DCLに移管され閉鎖された。現在は集合住宅が建っている。
