Broombrae distillery is said to be built on the opposite side of Woodland Place at the corner of Dalaruan Street and High Street. We can guess that Woodland Place used to be there where cherry blossom tree is at Glen Scotia so Broombrae distillery should have been standing on the North-West side of Benmore Distillery.
It was built in 1833 but there is little known about this distillery. You can find houses named after this distillery which reminds us that Broombrae did exist.

ブルームブレ蒸留所はDalaruan StreetとHigh Streetの交わる付近で、Woodland Placeの反対側にあったといわれている。Woodland Placeはおそらく現在のGlen Scotiaの桜の木のあたりにあったと思われるので、蒸留所はBenmore蒸留所の北東付近と推測できる。
設立は1833年といわれているがこの蒸留所のことはあまり知られていない。現在この付近には住宅が建っていてその名前を今に伝えている。
