Glenside distillery used to stand by Glenside Street. You can get there by having a quick turn from Dalaruan Street in the northern part of the town. It is said to be start by John Marshall in 1830 but some say that is started in 1834 by David Anderson & Co. The owner changed several times but the name didn't change from Glenside Distillery Co. and closed in 1926. Now it is used as Local Authority.

グレンサイド蒸留所は町の北側Dalaruan StreetからGlenside Streetに少し入ったところにあった。1830年John Marshallにより操業とされるが、1834年David Anderson & Co,の操業という説もある。かなり経営者が変わったがGlenside Distillery Co.として操業が継続され1926年に閉鎖された。現在は公営の住宅となっている。
