Daniel Mactaggart & Co built highland distillery in 1827 on the corner of Dalaruan Street and Broad Street. Though the life of this distillery was short and it was closed on 1852. Now there stands a Local Authority just like Kintyre distillery.
All the structures were torn down from 2007 to 2008. (May/2008)

ハイランド蒸留所はDaniel Mactaggart & Coにより1827 年にDalaruan StreetとBroad Streetの角に建てられた。しかし蒸留所の命は短く1852年には閉鎖された。現在はKintyre蒸留所と同じく公共の住宅が建っている。
2007年から2008年にかけて全ての建物が取り壊された。(May/2008)
