St. Magdalene is in Linlithgow, a town 10 miles to the west from Edinburgh airport, famous for a castle where queen Mary was born. It is said that it was opened by Sebastian Henderson in the 18th century but in a record it says that Adam Dawson took a license in1788 and started to make whisky. In 1912,DCL provided capital for them and it was integrated with SMD in 1914 but closed in 1983. The strucuture was designated as a historical building so the exterior was kept as it was and it's now used as an apartment.

エディンバラ空港から10マイルほど西、メアリー女王が生まれた城で有名なリンリスゴーという古い城下町にある。設立は18世紀後半にセバスチャン・ヘンダーソンが建てたとされているが、記録の上では1798年にライセンスを得てウィスキー作りを始めたアダム・ドーソンとなっている。1912年にDCLの資本が入り、1914年にはSMDに統合され操業を続けたが1983年に閉鎖された。建物は歴史的建造物の指定を受け外観を守りながら美しいアパートに改造された。
