Dean distillery stood by the river Leith near Dean Bridge in the city of Edinburgh. James Johnston from Glenpatrick distillery started the place in 1881. The owner changed several times and in 1922, it was closed. Now part of the building from those days still remains. Though they are reformed and being used as offices.

ディーン蒸留所はエディンバラ市内のDean Bridge近くのLeith川河畔にある。1881年Glenpatrick蒸留所のJames Johnstoneが設立。その後いく度か経営が変わり1922年閉鎖。現在当時の建物は幾つか残っているが新しくリフォームされオフィスビルなどに使われている。
