There's a town called Kirkliston in the east of Edinburgh Airport. There was a distillery in this town. Lambsmiln established it in 1795. The owner changed several times and in 1920 it was closed. After that they used the site as a malster, but closed it in 1988. The facitlity was torn down in September 2006. It's said that Robert Stein who invented the patent still tried a test at this distillery.

エディンバラ空港の西側にKirklistonという町がある。蒸留所はこの町にあった。1795年Lambsmilnにより設立され、何度も経営が変わり1920年閉鎖。その後DCLの製麦工場等となったが1988年閉鎖。2006年9月取り壊された。この蒸留所は連続式蒸留器を発明したロバート・スティーンが実験を試み設置したといわれている。
