You can find a small village called Milton about 25 miles to the north from Inverness on A9. Milltown distillery was there where we now call Old Mill Road. Alexander Ross ran the place from 1817 to 1818. Nothing certain is known. Now there stands a beautiful flat with pagoda roof.
