Glen Albyn distillery stood by A862 near Caledonian watercourse at the west side of the city of Inverness. It is said to be built in 1846 by James Sutherland the a mayor of Inverness. The owner changed several times and SMD owned it in 1972 but it was closed in 1983 and they pulled it down in 1986. Now the site is used as a big shopping center.

グレン・アルビン蒸留所はインバネス市内の西にあるカレドニアン水路の近くA862沿いにあった。1846年インバネス市長のJames Sutherlandによって設立されたとされている。いく度か経営が変わり1972年にSMDとなったが、1983年に閉鎖され1986年に取り壊された。現在は大きなショッピング・センターとなっている。
