Ardneistile distillery was built in 1836, next to the Laphroig distillery. They went through few crises to run the distillery but in 1866, the ddistillery was bought by Laphroig distillery. The strucutures of those days are now used for warehouse and office of Laphroig distillery. Ardneistile is named after an east area of Laphroig distillery. It's a beautiful place where you can enjoy a rich ocean view. Many houses stands there and the old building in the property was used as a studio by a Canadian musician in 1982.

アルデニスティル蒸留所は1836年にラフロイグ蒸留所のすぐ隣に建てられた。その後幾度か経営に行き詰まり1866年ラフロイグ蒸留所に買収された。当時の建物は現在ラフロイグ蒸留所のウェアハウスと事務所として使われている。アルデニスティルはラフロイグ蒸留所の東側付近の地名。海を見下ろす自然豊かな大変美しい場所で住宅があり、敷地内の古い建物は1982年までカナダのミュージシャンがスタジオとして使っていた。
