If you go on B9014 for about 6miles by River Isla to a direction of Keith from Dufftown, a classic town with old stone built structures around a clock tower, you'll reach Towiemore. The distillery stands by a railroad of Keith and Dufftown. It was built by Peter Dawson in 1896. After that it was closed for a while and they started running the distillery again but it was closed I n 1930. Now part of the distillery remains and it is used for ironworks.

時計台を中心に古い石造りの建物が続く静かな格調のある町、ダフタウンからB9014を6マイルほどアイラ川に沿ってKeith方面に行くと、タウィーモアがある。蒸留所はキース & ダフタウン鉄道の脇にある。1896年頃Peter Dawsonによって建てられた。その後一時閉鎖され再開されたが1930年再び閉鎖。現在は一部建物が残っていて鉄工所として使われている。
