Annan is a town with beautiful red brick structure, about 7 miles west of Gretna, a town at the border of England. The distillery is about a mile north of new residential street and high brick chimney and pagoda-roof from those days still stands today. It was a classic small farmed based distillery established in 1830 by George Donald. This distillery was owned by many men and in 1921 when it was owned by John Walker & Sons LTd, it was closed and became a farm again. There remains bottles used for process water and rust-eaten hatch in the site.

Annanは赤レンガの古い建物が美しい町、イングランドとの境にあるGretnaから7マイルほど西にある。蒸留所は町の新しい住宅街から1マイルほど北にあり、煙突やパコダなど当時の多くの建物が残っている。1830年George Donaldによって農場をベースにした小さな蒸留所として設立されたが、幾度となくオーナーが入れ替わり、最終的には1921年ごろ閉鎖されJohn Walker & Sons Ltdから現在の農家が買い取った。敷地内には仕込み水の集水枡や錆びたハッチも残っている。
