There's a village called Appin in the middle of way from Oban to Fortwilliam. There used to be 4 distilleries in this area. Invernahoyle distillery used to be one of them, which stood near the entrance of the village though there's nothing left.
This village by Loch Linnhe is a hidden resort place.

ObanからFortwilliamへ向かう中間にアッピンという村がある。かつてこの周辺には4箇所の蒸留所があった。インヴァーナホイル蒸留所は村の入り口近くにあったが今は何も残っていない。
リニー湖に突き出たこの村は隠れたリゾート地としても有名。
